William captures the likeness of his subjects with sharp accuracy and attention to detail. He enjoys the process of using acrylic paints, which are saturated with vibrant color, and adds a retardant to slow the drying process. This allows him to further blend and manipulate the colors on the canvas, which is difficult to achieve with acrylic painting, and helps produce his unique style of painting. The most gratifying part of the process is creating memories for you that will last forever!

The commissioned artwork will be scheduled in two or three phases, requiring a deposit with payments divided in equal amounts according to the number of phases. 

First Phase

Preliminary sketch with receipt of deposit. With the client's approval of the sketch, the creation of the artwork will take place.

Second Phase

Midpoint or final review. Client can request alterations. Second or final payment due.

Third Phase

Upon Client's satisfaction of finished work, balance due. 

Standard Portrait

1. One image 18"x 24"..... $350
2. Second image an additional $100

Deluxe Portrait

1. One image 24"x 30"..... $500
2. Each additional image will increase $150 up to 4.

Premier Portrait

1. One image 30"x 40"..... $650
2. Each additional image increases $250 up to 10.
3. Special scenic enhancement can be added at extra cost. 

Ultimate Portrait

1. One to three images ...$1500
2. Size options up to 48"x 60"
3. Each additional image  increases $350 up to 10.
4. Narrative and special scenic enhancement capturing a moment in time.

Alterations to artwork created by CALHOUNart shall not be made without consulting the originator. CALHOUNart shall be allowed the first option to make alterations when possible. After acceptance of final artwork, if changes are required, additional fees maybe charged to the original amount.

In the event of cancellation or breach by client, CALHOUNart shall retain ownership of all rights of the original artwork including sketches and any preliminary materials. The client will be required to pay CALHOUNart according to the following: fifty percent (50%) of the original cost if canceled after preliminary sketch is completed, one hundred (100%) if canceled after completion of finished artwork.
